PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy is important to us. eqTAG protects your data and privacy by taking all relevant measures in accordance with applicable legislation. This Privacy Policy applies to personal data we obtain from our customers and their representatives (“Users”) through our websites when the relevant User registers to eqTAG’s cloud-based infrastructure and software service (the “Service”).  The Privacy Policy also describes how eqTAG uses your content.

Our privacy policies comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).

 

1.  Why do we register and use your personal data and content you share on the Service?

1.1. Peronal data. We register your data to be able to set up the requested Service or for the processing of your requests. If you do not provide these Data, eqTAG will not be able to set up the service or answer your requests.

This means that we register and use personal data when

  • You have made, or you are considering making an agreement, Free trial, with us to make use of Service
  • You have granted us consent to use your personal data for a specific purpose

1.2. Content you share. We save your content to make full use of the Services possible for you, as long as your account is active.

 

2. What information we collect about you?

We collect information about you when you provide it to us, when you use our Services, and when other sources provide it to us, as further described below.

2.1. Information you provide to us. When you create a user profile at Service, eqTAG will request a variety of information from you, including your Company name, name, email address, address, credit or debit card information, or other payment details. You also have the option of adding a display name, profile photo, job title, and other details to your profile information to be displayed in our Services.  In addition we may collect communication history between us.

2.2. Content you provide through our Service. When you use our Service we collect and store content that you post, send, receive and share. This content includes any information about you that you may choose to include. Content also includes the files and links you upload to the Services.

 

3.  How long do we register and use your data?

3.1. We keep your data only for as long as it is needed. How long we keep information we collect about you depends on purpose and type of information for which your data were registered and used, as described further detail below.  After such time, we will either delete, or if this is not possible (for example, because the information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your information and isolate it from any further use until deletion is possible.

3.2. Account information. We retain your account information for as long as your account is active and a reasonable period thereafter in case you decide to re-activate the Services.  We also retain some of your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes and to enforce our agreements. 

3.2. Information you share on the Service. We retain all your information you have shared on the Service as long as your account is active. Furthermore, if some of your account user is deactivated or disabled, all information and the content user have provided will remain in order, to allow your team members or other users to make full use of the Services.  If you fully terminate your account, after reasonable period, latest after six (6) months, we delete all your information and the content you have shared on the Service.

 

4. Information sharing

Except as described in this Privacy Policy, eqTAG will not give, sell, rent, or loan any identifiable personal information to any third party.

 

5. User rights

5.1. Right to access. eqTAG offers access for the Users to the personal data processed by eqTAG. This means that Users may contact us, and we will inform what personal data we have collected and processed regarding the said User and the purposes such data are used for.

5.2. Right to withdraw consent. In case the processing is based on a consent granted by User, User may withdraw the consent at any time. Withdrawing a consent may lead to fewer possibilities to use our Services.

5.3. Right to correct. Users have the right to have incorrect, imprecise, incomplete, outdated, or unnecessary personal data we have stored about the User corrected or completed.

5.4. Right to deletion. Users may also ask us to delete the User’s personal data from our systems. We will comply with such request unless we have a legitimate ground to not delete the data. We may not immediately be able to delete all residual copies from our servers and backup systems after the active data have been deleted. Such copies shall be deleted as soon as reasonably possible.

5.5. Right to object. Users may object to certain use of personal data if such data are processed for other purposes than purposes necessary for the performance of our Services to the User or for compliance with a legal obligation.

Users may also object any further processing of personal data after prior given consent.

5.6. Right to restriction of processing. Users may request us to restrict certain processing of personal data, this may however lead to fewer possibilities to use our Services.

5.7. Right to data portability. Users have the right to receive their personal data from us in a structured and commonly used format and to independently transmit those data to a third party.

 

6. Protection of information and data security

eqTAG complies with the legal requirements set out in applicable laws related to data security and maintains reasonable measures to protect your information from loss. We will take all reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect the personal data we store and process from unauthorized access or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction. Measures include for example, where appropriate, encryption, firewalls, secure facilities and access right systems. SSL is used to encrypt all traffic between the client and the service.

 

7. User Name and Password

The customer shall be responsible for ensuring that its users maintain user names and passwords diligently and do not disclose them to third parties. The customer shall be responsible for any use of the software service using its user names and passwords. The Customer agree to immediately notify eqTAG of any unauthorized use of your username and password.

 

8. Privacy statement cookie policy

This privacy statement explains how we at eqTAG use the electronic footprints you leave when you visit our website and use our Service. The statement also provides information about the individual cookies that you can accept and explains how to accept the use of cookies, how to revoke your acceptance of cookies, how to refuse cookies, and what to do to prevent your browser from using cookies at all.

8.1. Use of cookies on our websites. We use cookies on our websites and in our electronic self-service solutions. A cookie is a small text file used by many websites to track repeated visits by users. As an inactive file, a cookie cannot spread viruses or other harmful programs.

This cookie makes sure that we do not need to notify you on your next visit.
